Announcement of new Museum Director – Cody Grabhorn

Cody Grabhorn

Congratulations to Cody Grabhorn on accepting an appointment as our new Mining & Rollo Jamison Museum Director. Cody is returning to us with a strong educational background in history. Cody is an alumnus of UW-Platteville, having graduated in 2015 with a B.A. in both history and political science.

As a UW-Platteville student, Cody served the community as a tour guide and front desk attendant at the Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums.  He went on to obtain an M.A. in history from Lehigh University in 2020 while advancing his career in museum operations. Cody currently serves as the Executive Director of the Ontario County Historical Society in Canandaigua, New York.  He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role, including experiences in curating, education, management, and tour guiding.

Cody will undoubtedly contribute to the success and vibrancy of the museum. We look forward to Cody's leadership and look forward to his April 1st start date.
