City Manager Clinton Langreck and Council President Barb Daus Attended Tri-State Mayors Breakfast Held In Dubuque

On Friday June 2nd, City Manager Clinton Langreck traveled with Council President Barb Daus to the Tri-State Mayors Breakfast at the Hotel Julien in Dubuque.

This was an opportunity to learn about challenges, achievements, and opportunities facing our neighbors in the Greater Dubuque Region, and to network with area partners. Discussion was had by a panel of representing city leadership from the cities of Platteville, Dubuque, East Dubuque, Peosta, and Dyersville, with area partners and area chamber members in attendance. President Daus represented the City of Platteville. The Council President expressed the City’s need for Fire Facility improvements. President Daus also highlighted the city achievement of opening our Inclusive Playground; giving accolades to project members and staff. Daus commented that she was inspired by the Platteville Inclusive Playground Committee and hopes that many of the committee members will continue their excellent work in other community leadership roles.
