City of Platteville Winter Weather Updates For Friday, January 12, 2024
Finance Office
Due to hazardous weather, the Finance Office in City Hall will close at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12.
Library
Due to the forecasted winter storm, the library will be closed on Friday, January 12. We will reopen on Saturday at 10am.
Senior Center
The Senior Center of Platteville is closed Friday, January 12. We will welcome you back Monday.
Transportation
Due to inclement weather, the Platteville Public Transportation Bus Service has been suspended. Taxi is running limited service and will end at 5:00 p.m. today.
Snow Plowing
With the continuous snow, crews will focus on emergency routes and will work on side streets when they can. If there is an emergency, Police Dispatch has been directed to notify the crews to ensure emergency vehicles can reach the affected area.
Winter Parking
Please be reminded of the City of Platteville Winter Parking Regulations.
