Face Coverings Required in all Municipal Buildings Effective Monday, August 23, 2021

Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases and the overall increase in average positive cases per day, Grant County has been listed by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services as High in transmission and activity rate.

With this increase, to comply with current CDC guidelines, effective Monday, August 23, 2021 all individuals who are inside a City of Platteville municipal building (employees and visitors) will be required to wear a face covering, even if they are fully vaccinated.

At this time, Common Council meetings will continue to take place in-person in the Council Chambers at City Hall.  Face coverings and social distancing protocols will be enforced.

The City of Platteville will continue to work with the Grant County Health Department to review further mask recommendations in the future.
