Input needed for Platteville Marketing Plan

Platteville, WI, February 25, 2022—The City of Platteville and its economic partners, including Platteville Main Street, Platteville Regional Chamber, Platteville Business Incubator, Platteville Area Industrial Development Incorporation (PAIDC), Grant County and local institutions of higher learning and K-12 schools system are working together to develop a marketing campaign to promote the Platteville community as a great place to live, work, and play.

Through a grant from Wisconsin Main Street, Arnett Muldrow & Associates will conduct a branding and messaging technical visit for Platteville. The purpose of the effort is to create a consistent message for the community and its partners to use to continue to build local pride, recruit investment to the community, leverage regional economic assets and market Platteville to visitors.

The marketing and branding process will be based in part on results from an online survey and will ramp up on Thursday, March 10 with a series of roundtable meetings with various stakeholder groups. The intensive process is designed to immerse the project team in the district and to provide a marketing and branding plan in a very short time frame. We would love for the community to participate in the process. Community members are encouraged to voice their thoughts by visiting this survey link:  https://forms.gle/9Y5SKKmvJMxGcaVQA
