City Manager Finalists Announced

PLATTEVILLE, WI (October 2, 2019) – The Platteville Common Council has selected four candidates to visit Platteville on October 9 and 10 to interview for the position of City Manager.  The City’s recruitment consultant, Public Administration Association LLC, reported that a total of 30 persons had submitted materials for consideration.  

Council President Barbara Daus noted, “The council was impressed with the qualifications of the candidates.  We look forward to meeting these selected individuals and hearing about their interest in Platteville and the skills and knowledge they would bring to our community.” 

The finalists are:

• Richard Downey, Village Administrator; Village of Kronenwetter, WI; 
• Clinton Langreck, County Human Resources Director; Green County, WI; 
• Adam Ruechel, Village Administrator; Village of Marshall, WI

Please note that a fourth finalist, Patrick Vander Sanden has withdrawn from the interview process.
