Heartland Credit Union Adds $10,000 to Legion Park Event Center
The Legion Park Event Center committee is pleased to announce another great financial supporter in Heartland Credit Union who donated $10,000 for the new event center.
Dianne Jentz, HCU VP-Business Lending, noted: "We are fortunate to live and work in this community. We see the new event center as a wonderful investment to fulfill a need in our community. It's a way we can give back and show our appreciation and support of agriculture and members in our community. We are proud to be part of this initiative and a community that is working together to fund this project."
Sheri Engelke, LPEC Chair Person shared: “We very much appreciate Heartland’s support. It's a great example for others in our business and banking community.”
“The Steering Committee greatly appreciates Heartland Credit Union’s participation to this worthy cause in addition to the commitments they have made in the past to the library and other community projects,” noted Legion Park Event Center committee member Bob Hundhausen.
“Dianne has not only encouraged her credit union to participate financially in our community, but she has taken a leadership roll in our non-profits. This is typical of our Platteville banking professionals as is demonstrated by two other banking leaders involved with the new event center,” stated Gene Weber of Inspiring Community.
Donations of any size are important whether it is $10, $500, $2,500, $5,000 or more; all are helpful. 1000 names on the entrance kiosk would send a great message of our community collaboration for future generations. Those wishing to be a part of this effort may send checks to Inspiring Community, Inc. PO Box 503, Platteville, Wi 53818 and note “Event Center” on memo line.
