Ben Reeves Offers Community $10,000 Challenge

The Platteville Library Foundation is pleased to announce that Ben Reeves has pledged to match up to $10,000 to the Capital Campaign, Our Library, Our Future.  This is your chance to double your dollars and help fill the new library space with 21Century furnishings, fixtures and equipment.  Ben’s contribution is being made in the memory of his mother, Janet Davenport Reeves.  In naming the picture book section in her honor, Ben recalled fond memories his mother reading picture books to him as a small child.  In particular, Ben mentioned Rumpelstilskin as a favorite.

This generous gift from Ben gives you an opportunity to become part of the donor wall when your $500 contribution will be doubled to $1000 or to be part of the 500 Families and Friends with a $250 donation.  All levels of contributions are welcome and appreciated, and even the smallest amount will be doubled between now and the end of June.  A special thanks to Ben for providing our community with this generous donation.  Donations may be mailed directly to the Foundation at P.O.Box 358, Platteville, WI 53818, online to www.cfsw.org/give-now, or dropped off at the Platteville Public Library. If you have any questions, please contact Nancy Kies at (608) 778-3215.
