The Platteville Public Library is seeking a tech-savvy, collaborative individual with demonstrated research and customer service skills. This person will work with the Adult Services staff to answer questions, plan and execute events, maintain library collections, and select materials for purchase. Other responsibilities include checking out materials to patrons and assisting patrons with their library accounts. Work includes evenings and weekends in rotation.

Skills required: Strong communication skills, computer skills, research skills, customer service skills, adaptability, and the ability to work as a team are necessary. A working knowledge of the Dewey Decimal system is preferred. Previous library experience is desirable.

Minimum education: Two years of study at an accredited college, university, or technical school.

Starting wage: $13.94/hour, not to exceed 20 hours per week.
