Platteville Library Foundation Donor Matching Campaign

National Library Week kicks off on April 7, and the Platteville Library Foundation is celebrating all month long.  Now through the end of April, the Platteville Library Foundation will match dollar for dollar any Endowment Fund donations it receives, up to $1,000 per contribution.

Library Director Jessie Lee-Jones said that the Library Foundation developed this donation matching campaign to encourage donors to contribute towards the Foundation’s newly established Endowment Fund.  “The Library Foundation is committed to the long-term success of the Platteville Public Library.  They plan to help us maintain our beautiful library facility, as well as preserve and grow the unique services and resources we provide to our community members”.

Any gift to the Library Foundation in April is worth more because of the match challenge. Thanks to this matching campaign, donors that give $250 will be eligible to add a leaf to the 500 Friends and Families Tree, and donations of $500 or more will be given a wood block on the major donor wall in the library stairwell.

Donations can be made in person at the Platteville Public Library, via mail to P.O. Box 358, Platteville, WI 53818 or online through the Community Fund of Southern Wisconsin at www.cfsw.org/give-now.  The Platteville Library Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501c(3), so your gift is tax deductible to the fullest extent provided by law.
