The Platteville Public Library and The Big Move
How can I get books while the library is closed?
You can still place holds on items from other libraries through our library catalog (available at plattevillepubliclibrary.org). Holds can be picked up at the Platteville Senior Center during our off-site hours. You can also use your library card at any other Southwest Wisconsin Library System library.
Will you have off-site services?
We’ll have off-site services at the Platteville Senior Center, 55 S. Court Street (next to the Platteville Post Office). We’ll have holds available for pick up and limited computer access. We’ll be open at the Senior Center from 3-6 p.m. on Jun12-15 and June 19-22. Please use the bookdrop at the current library (65 S. Elm Street) if you want to return items.
Where can I return my books?
Nothing will be due while we are closed. However, if you would like to return your checked out items, please use our current bookdrop at 65 S. Elm Street.
How can I sign up for summer programs?
You can register for summer events using our online registration at Plattevillepubliclibrary.evanced.info/signup. You can register for summer reading during our off-site hours at the Senior Center. If you have questions about the summer programs and registration, please call (608) 348-7441 and leave a message.
How can I stay up-to-date with library moving news?
