Best Selling Author Kathleen Ernst to Speak at the Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 7:00 pm.

The Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums are excited to host Kathleen Ernst on Thursday, November 16th at 7:00 pm for a presentation and book signing.  Kathleen Ernst is the award-winning, author of thirty-five published books, which together have now sold over 

1.7 million printed, ebook, and audio copies.  Her new book, Mining for Justice, takes place in Mineral Point and will be published this October. 

Kathleen’s work has earned numerous honors, including an Emmy for children’s educational programming, a LOVEY Best Traditional Mystery Award, and an Edgar and multiple Agatha national mystery award nominations.

Kathleen’s published books fall into three main groups: American Girl mysteries and historical fiction for readers ages 8 and up; Chloe Ellefson mysteries for adults and mature teens; and American Civil War books for adults and young readers. In addition, she has written poetry, a young adult (YA) novel, and a two non-fiction history books.

This program is presented in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums (the nonprofit group that supports the museums, formerly known as the Jamison Museum Association) on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 6:00 pm.  Agenda items include approval of the 2018 budget and acknowledgement of donors and volunteers.  Only members of the Friends of the Mining and Rollo Jamison Museums are allowed to vote at the Meeting although all are welcome to attend.
