Classic Toy Train Exhibit at the Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums February 4-5 & 11-12, 2017

Join us for a celebration of classic toy trains as the East Room at the Museums fills with toy train this February.  This exhibit features two large operating 8’ by 28’ platforms; one with a standard gauge layout and one with an O gauge layout.  You’ll see both original and reproduction engines, cars, and accessories.  1930s and 1940s period rooms will show antique trains in context.  

Bring your own O gauge engine and run it on the museum’s layout.  Young engineers can try out the wood floor trains and build with Lincoln logs in the expanded play area.

This exhibit is free to the public and is open Saturday February 4, Sunday, February 5, Saturday, February 11, and Sunday, February 12, 2016 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
