Young Professionals Week Events Being Held This Week!
The City of Platteville's Museums and Recreation Departments and NEWaukee are proud to announce the expansion of YPWeek Wisconsin to include 25 communities, 175+ events and 30 public projects in 2017. The grassroots statewide program will run April 22 to 29, 2017 with each community presenting a variety of programs that empower young professionals to take ownership and pride in their home towns.
After two years of successful expansion of YPWeek Wisconsin, NEWaukee has built the nation’s largest millennial talent network. YPWeek Wisconsin currently showcases 25 communities: Chequamegon Bay, Door County, Eau Claire, Fond du Lac, Fox Cities, Green Bay, Hayward, Kenosha, La Crosse, Oshkosh, Madison, Manitowoc, Marinette, Marshfield, Milwaukee, Price County, Portage, Platteville, Racine, Sheboygan, Stevens Point, Superior, Waukesha County, Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids.

Platteville Young Professionals Week Events
Business Afterhours at the Museums
Tuesday, April 25, 2017, 5:00 – 7:00 pm
Join the Museums and the Platteville Regional Chamber for this Business After hours in celebration of Young Professionals Week. Catch a drink and enjoy the music of the Adam Bartels Band as you peruse the exhibits and network with other professionals. This event is designed for professionals of all ages to attend and promote intergenerational networking.
Trail Clean Up
Thursday, April 27, 2017. 5:30 pm
Help remove invasive bush honeysuckle from the trails. Meet at the dog park, expect to get dirty, and wear hiking clothes.
Kickball Cookout
Saturday, April 29, 2017, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Join us in Legion Park for a classic game of kickball. Stick around after the game for food, drinks, and socializing at a BBQ potluck. Please bring your own drinks and a dish to share. This free event is part of Platteville's Young Professional Week.
