The Platteville Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer to fill an immediate opening and establish an eligibility pool for future openings. Beginning pay is $21.87 with step increases to $28.34.
Applications are due Friday, May 19th, 2017 at 1 p.m. Written tests, physical fitness testing (1 1/2 mile run, 300 meter sprint, shuttle run, push-ups, sit-ups and jump test), and the first round of interviews will be on Saturday, May 20th, 2017, beginning at 8 a.m. There will be no alternative dates offered. The Platteville Police and Fire Commission will hold interviews for those selected to participate on Tuesday, June 6th, 2017 during evening hours. Contact Lt.
