The Platteville Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer to fill an immediate opening and establish an eligibility pool for future openings. Beginning pay is $21.87 with step increases to $28.34. See documents below or click on the following for complete job description, minimum requirements and application materials. In lieu of a City application, candidates may submit a DJ-LE-330 obtained from the WILENET web site.

Applications are due Wednesday, April 18th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Written tests, physical fitness testing, and the first round of interviews for selected candidates will be on Saturday, April 21st, 2018, beginning at 8:00 a.m. At this time, there are no alternative dates offered. The Platteville Police and Fire Commission will hold interviews for those selected to participate on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 during evening hours.
