The Platteville Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer to fill an immediate opening and establish an eligibility pool for future openings. Beginning pay is $22.64 with step increases to $29.35. Applications are due Friday, September 6, 2019 at 1 p.m. Written tests, physical fitness testing, and the first round of interviews for selected candidates will be on Saturday, September 14, beginning at 8 a.m. At this time, there are no alternative dates offered. The Platteville Police and Fire Commission will hold interviews for those selected to participate on September 23, 2019 during evening hours.
