City of Platteville Police Department

Applications are now being accepted for a Part-Time (Approx. 30 hours per week) Telecommunicator position. The position has a current starting rate of $18/hr. with additional benefits to include: sick leave, vacation, health insurance, and Wisconsin Retirement System participation.  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a High School diploma or GED. Successful applicants will possess skill in typing, data entry, written and verbal communications, related education and experience. Initial Applicants will be asked to complete an online typing test. Those applicants chosen for an in-person interview will be asked to an assessment on October 22nd, 2019.  Applicants are subject to an extensive background check prior to being hired.
