A Public Information meeting regarding the upcoming Camp Street Water and Sewer Replacement Project will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers at City Hall. The objective of the project is to replace the water main and sanitary sewer on Camp Street from Lancaster Street to Elm Street. This project will be bid in early 2024, work will start in April/May 2024, and it will be completed in August 2024.
Status Updates
September 3, 2024
Paving will take place tomorrow September 4, 2024. This includes permanent patching on Lancaster Street and Elm Street. It includes temporary asphalt curbing and temporary sidewalk where curb or sidewalk were removed.
Seal coating will take place Thursday September 5, 2024. This will be a temporary seal coat of oil and gravel on the gravel areas of Camp Street. It is a cost saving measure to last until the full construction project in the spring of 2025.
