GIS Specialist/Planner

The City of Platteville seeks a GIS Specialist/Planner. This position maintains the City’s Geographic Information System (ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Portal), creates and updates maps and map layers for use by other departments and the public, provides support on a variety of planning related issues including land use planning, land records, code amendments, and other projects. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service, communication and project management skills. Local government experience desired. Bachelor’s degree in geographic information systems, cartography, planning, or a related field and 2 years of planning or GIS experience required. The hiring range for this position is $51-56k.
