City Manager Clinton Langreck and Fire Chief Ryan Simmons Present Fire Facility Concepts To Council At August, 22, 2023 Meeting

At the Tuesday, August 22, 2023 meeting, Platteville City Manager, Clinton Langreck and Platteville Fire Chief, Ryan Simmons presented several fire facility concepts for the Council’s future consideration.

The presentation gave:

1. A summary of the background and history of the project,
2. A review of concept development,
3. A review of the initial presentation given by our architect and construction manager,
4. Concept options for consideration, and
5. A layout of the decision points.
   ​​​​

The presentation was reviewed by the Fire Facility Guidance Team and the Design Team prior to the August 22 meeting.

Following the August 22 Common Council meeting, staff intends to present to partner Townships and the Capital Campaign Team prior to returning to the Common Council in September with a recommendation for consideration.
