Ed and Greg Faherty noted, "The decision to give to the Platteville Fire Department Fundraising efforts was an easy one.  We have one of the best VOLUNTEER Fire Departments there is, dedicated individuals who put the safety and well-being of others, before their own.  They, and we, deserve a larger, up to date facility that can continue to serve the safety, and needs of the citizens of Platteville for decades to come."
