Site Preparation:
The City of Platteville, in collaboration with Kraemer Brothers (construction manager) and Owen's Excavation and Trenching, is scheduled to begin demolition of the O.E. Gray building, and adjacent property, the week of December 16th. A pre-construction meeting was held on December 4th and fencing and site preparation have already begun. Kraemer Brothers will manage the mass demolition of the structures and will have a representative on site throughout the demolition.

Commemorative Brick Pile:
A commemorative brick pile will be available for a limited time to the public in the off-street parking lot on Lewis Street near N. Elm Street. This pile will be for commemorative use and large quantities should not be taken for construction purposes.  Look for availability dates on the City Facebook website.

Site Superintendent (Demolition):
Kraemer Brothers will be overseeing the mass demolition of the existing structures on the site prior to construction beginning in April 2025.  Kraemer Brothers have assigned Tim Kepler as the Site Superintendent for demolition.  Question or concerns during the demolition can be directed to Tim Kepler by email at tkepler@kraemerbothers.com or by phone at (608) 588-4150.
