Santa Calling 2024

This year marks the 36th year of the Santa Calling Program sponsored by the Platteville Optimist Club.  Platteville Optimists have been volunteering their time contacting children in Pre-School through Second Grade for a “live” phone call from Santa Claus or Mrs. Claus. Calls will be made between Tuesday, December 10th and Thursday, December 12^th.  These volunteers will assist in the “transmission” of calls from the North Pole.

You may mail the form to the City of Platteville, PO Box 780, use the City’s drop box in front of City Hall, or e-mail recreation@platteville.org.  There is no fee for this program.  If you have any additional questions, please contact the Recreation office at (608) 348-1833.
 

Este año marca el 36º aniversario del Programa Santa Calling, patrocinado por el
Club Optimist de Platteville. Los Optimistas de Platteville han estado ofreciendo su tiempo voluntariamente para contactar a niños desde Preescolar hasta Segundo Grado para una llamada telefónica "en vivo" de Papá Noel o su señora. Las llamadas se realizarán entre el martes 10 de diciembre y el jueves 12 de diciembre. Estos voluntarios ayudarán en la "transmisión" de las llamadas desde el Polo Norte.
