Tuesday, August 9, 2022 - Partisan Primary
In-Office Absentee Voting in the City Clerk's office will start Tuesday, July 26, 2022, and continue until Friday, August 5, 2022. Office hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Friday, August 5 office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The City Clerk's office is located on the upper level of City Hall, 75 N Bonson Street, Platteville.
Remember to bring your photo ID to the polling locations.
To find your polling place, please visit myvote.wi.gov and enter your address.
The polls will be open from 7 am - 8 pm. If you have any questions please call the City Clerk's office at 348-9741 ext. 9.
The last day to vote an absentee ballot in the clerk's office: Friday, August 5, 2022
Primary held in even-numbered years on the second Tuesday in August, to nominate candidates to be voted for at the General Election, to elect Governor and Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, U.S.Senator, Representative in Congress, State Senator (odd-numbered districts), Representative to the Assembly (all districts), and County offices of Sheriff, Clerk of Circuit Court and Coroner. State Statute 5.02(21). Sample ballots are posted below.
