2024 Seasonal Recreation Attendant Positions (Fall)

Are you looking for a part-time position assisting with one or more of the fall recreation programs offered by the Platteville Parks & Recreation Department? We are accepting applications for Recreation Attendants.
Current Programs Needing Attendants
Intro to Sports: PreK (3 yrs old) - K | Mondays from 5:00-5:30pm (September 9 - October 14)
Intro to sports teaches the 6 basics sports. 1 different sport every week. The instructors will teach basics drills and skills that will help the participants learn each week.
Intro to Sports: 1st – 3rd Grade | Mondays from 5:45pm-6:15pm (September 9 - October 14)
Same as the PreK class. However, we try to teach some advanced skills to the older participants.
Volleyball Scorekeeper | Mondays from 6:00pm - 8:00pm (September 23 - February 24).
The attendant would be tasked with setting up and/or taking down nets, plus recording final scores from each game. Experience in volleyball is not necessary.
Open Gym Attendant | Wednesdays from 7:00pm - 9:00pm (October 2 - April 16).
The attendant would be tasked with collecting fees, supervising the proper use of gym equipment and putting equipment away at the end of hours.
Indoor Park Attendant | Saturdays from 9:00am - 12:00pm (November 2 - March 29).
The attendant would be tasked with opening the gym, supervising the proper use of gym equipment and putting equipment away at the end of hours.
Whether you're passionate about a specific program/sport, or just want to get involved and get out of the house, there are numerous opportunities for you.
- No experience is necessary!
- Knowledge of certain programs and/or rules is a plus!
