Commission on Aging
The Commission’s function is to determine the needs of Platteville senior citizens, to create community awareness of these needs, and to develop resources and services to meet these needs. This is accomplished by working with other area agencies and organizations.
The Commission on Aging shall consist of eight members; all members shall be residents of the City. The members shall be appointed by the President of the Common Council, subject to confirmation of the Common Council. The members shall be appointed for terms of three years.

The Commission on Aging meets the 4th Monday of the month at 4:30 p.m. at the Senior Center.
Platteville Area Senior Support
P.A.S.S. is a nonprofit organization recognized as a 501(c)(3) entity dedicated to supporting the Platteville Senior Center. Our mission is to enhance the lives of seniors in the Platteville area by providing essential funding for programming and activities that foster well-being, social connections, and educational opportunities.
While we actively pursue grants from various sources, our primary fundraising efforts are focused on local donations, sponsorships, and community events, including brat sales and collaborations with other organizations. Through these efforts, P.A.S.S. plays a vital role in empowering our senior community and ensuring that they have access to enriching experiences.
Joining P.A.S.S. is a meaningful way to contribute to the well-being of our fantastic seniors and help cultivate a vibrant and supportive community. Together, we can make a difference!
