This dynamic class lead by Eileen focuses on improving functional fitness, helping you build muscle strength, increase flexibility, and enhance your balance—all essential for daily activities and overall well-being.
Join us to boost your energy, improve your posture, and regain confidence in your movements. Let’s strengthen our bodies and enrich our lives together! All fitness levels are welcome—come ready to move and have fun! You'll enjoy a fun, social atmosphere while working at your own pace, ensuring safety and comfort.

Description: Join us for a gentle and invigorating Chair Yoga Fitness Class designed specifically for seniors led by Addie! This welcoming and supportive environment allows participants to experience the benefits of yoga without the need to get on the floor. Addie will guide you through a series of seated stretches, breathing exercises, and mindful movements that promote flexibility, strength, and relaxation.
Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this class is perfect for all fitness levels. You’ll improve balance, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being while connecting with others in the community. Chairs are provided, so all you need to bring is a comfortable outfit and a willingness to explore the calming world of yoga.
Balance & Strength with Addie
Friday at 8:00 am @ Senior Center
Description: Join our Strength and Balance class that is designed just for seniors and led by Addie! Start your Fridays off right and use this class to improve mobility, stability, endurance, and overall strength. This low-impact program focuses on exercises that target key muscle groups to enhance stability, flexibility, and coordination. By strengthening muscles and improving posture, the class helps reduce the risk of falls and injuries, promoting better independence and confidence in daily activities.
Each session includes a mix of exercises to improve joint flexibility, muscle tone, and balance control, while incorporating techniques to boost endurance. The exercises can be easily tailored to meet individual needs, ensuring that participants can progress at their own pace. Whether you're new to exercise or looking to maintain an active lifestyle, our supportive environment ensures you can work at your own pace while building confidence and strength.
Spring Parkinson's Training
Friday at 9:00 am @ Senior Center
Description: Our Inclusive Parkinson’s Disease Fitness Class is specifically designed for seniors living with Parkinson's. This class encourages movement, connection, and empowerment through tailored exercises that enhance strength, balance, and coordination.
Led by UW Platteville Health & Human Performance Student, Brandon, each session incorporates a mix of gentle stretching, resistance training, and aerobic activities. Participants will engage in exercises that focus on improving mobility and daily function while promoting overall well-being.
This class emphasizes adaptability, ensuring that everyone can participate at their own pace and comfort level. You'll not only benefit from the physical aspects of the class but also enjoy the camaraderie of fellow participants in a safe and encouraging space.
Class offered: March 7,14, 21 and April 4, 11, 18, 25. Also available using Google Meet.
