2025 Seasonal Recreation Attendant Positions (Spring)

Are you looking for a part-time position assisting with one or more of the spring recreation programs offered by the Platteville Parks & Recreation Department? We are accepting applications for Recreation Attendants.
Current Programs Needing Attendants
Intro to Sports: PreK (3 yrs old) - K | Mondays from 5:00-5:30pm (April 7 – May 112)
Intro to sports teaches the 6 basics sports. 1 different sport every week. The instructors will teach basics drills and skills that will help the participants learn each week.
Intro to Sports: 1st – 3rd Grade | Mondays from 5:45pm-6:15pm (April 7 – May 12)
Same as the PreK class. However, we try to teach some advanced skills to the older participants.
T-Ball (Spring Training): K – 1st Grade |Thursdays from 5:00-5:30pm (April 10 – May 15)
Help instruct the basics for T-ball. Help learn the benefits of keeping active and learning the sport.
Volleyball Instructor (5th-8th Grade) | Tuesdays & Thursdays - 4:00pm-4:30pm (April 8 – May 15)
Help refine the skills and teach drills to volleyball participants 5th-8th grade. There are 2, 30 min classes, per week. Instructors must be able to keep the participants active in volleyball skills and activities.
Whether you're passionate about a specific program/sport, or just want to get involved and get outside (or out of the house), there are numerous opportunities for you.
- No experience is necessary!
- Knowledge of certain programs and/or rules is a plus!
