Have Your Child Receive a Phone Call From Santa or Mrs. Claus – Forms Due Friday, December 7th
2018 marks the 30th year of the Santa Calling Program sponsored by the Platteville Optimist Club. Platteville Optimists have been volunteering their time contacting children in Pre-School through Second Grade for a “live” phone call from Santa Claus or Mrs. Claus. Calls will be made between Tuesday, December 11th and Thursday, December 13th. These volunteers will assist in the “transmission” of calls from the North Pole.
If you would like your child(ren) to receive a call from Santa, please return this form to the Recreation office by Friday, December 7th. Either print this form or pick up a copy at City Hall, Library, Neal Wilkins, or Westview school offices. You may mail the form to 75 North Bonson Street, use the City’s drop box located in front of City Hall, or via e-mail to sigwarthd@platteville.org. There is no fee for this program. If you have any additional questions, please contact the Recreation office at 348-9741, extension 2238.
CALLING SCHEDULE: TUESDAY, DECEMBER 11TH – THURSDAY, DECEMBER 13TH 6:00-8:00 P.M.
Pre-school children will be called first (6:00 – 7:00 p.m.)
Kindergarten through 2nd grade will be anytime between 6:00-8:00 p.m.
If you have a specific time and night preference, please note below.
All children who turn in a form will be called. Please use a separate form for each child in the family who will receive a call from Santa.
