Platteville Family Aquatic Center Opening Delayed Until June 20, 2022
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Platteville Family Aquatic Center will not be opening on Monday, June 6 as originally planned.
Despite the extra efforts by City staff, fluctuating weather conditions postponed the specialized paint application, which requires proper curing time to ensure durability. Additionally, the age of the pool and the expanded maintenance required has added to the delayed opening of Monday, June 20.
Due to the delay, Session I of swimming lessons will be adjusted. Those registered will be notified by Platteville Parks & Recreation staff regarding the adjustment.
Additional information on the pool opening will be available on the Platteville Family Aquatic Center and The City of Platteville, Wisconsin Facebook pages.
