Platteville Inclusive Playground Committee Shares Design Renderings and Donation Information
The Platteville Inclusive Playground Committee held a design sneak peek and open house on Thursday, April 21, 2022. The committee shared playground equipment large scale renderings and answered questions from attendees.
The Platteville Inclusive Playground Committee has met the initial fundraising goal which means this project will be going in the ground! However, the committee is dedicated to continued fundraising efforts for three reasons:
- The Design Team has picked out some bonus equipment that if the community sees fit, the committee would love to be able to purchase!
- There will be a beautiful accessible poured in place rubber surfacing as the foundation of the playground and the Platteville Inclusive Playground Committee is committed to establishing a long-term maintenance fund to help alleviate the cost of maintenance to the playground in future years.
- The committee would love the opportunity to purchase accessible picnic tables for the new pavilion.
The Platteville Inclusive Playground Committee appreciates all of the donors and supporters who have helped bring this project to life, and encourages those of you who are still interested in donating to this project, to do so in order to help us take it from fantastic to spectacular!!
