This month the CIty implemented a new Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) phone system. The VOIP project was managed by our outgoing Administration Director, Valerie Martin. Valerie is leaving us to pursue an even more noble cause, teaching business skills to high school students in Cassville. She did a fantastic job bringing in this new technology and is leaving us on a high note.

As a new City Manager, my first few months were a whirlwind of meetings. After meetings with each of the City Council members and Department Heads, I sent out an invitation to meet with City employees. About 25 staff members took me up on the offer.
