2025 Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Positions

The City of Platteville has opportunities for seasonal grounds maintenance positions in our Streets & Parks Departments for 2025. Up to 40 hours/week available most weeks through October/November. Hours can be flexible between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Individuals with only part-time hours available are encouraged to apply. We will work around class schedules.

The position includes mowing, trimming, leaf pickup, and general maintenance work.  A valid driver’s license is required.  Minimum starting rate of pay is $14.00-$16.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and responsibilities.
