Building Maintenance Specialist

The Building Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the repair, maintenance and remodel of city buildings and facilities. Candidates should have a strong ability to plan, execute, oversee maintenance and construction projects. This position will evaluate the work of contractors and provide work direction to custodial staff and other team members. The position also supports the activities of the Street Division, including operating a snow plow and responding to emergency situations. Requires a high school degree or equivalent, 5 years of related work, construction experience, HVAC experience, and the ability to obtain a CDL license.  Hiring range is $21-25/hr. based on experience.

Successful candidates will have an established track record of initiative, problem-solving, customer service and integrity.
