Bus Service in Snowy/Icy Weather | Sign up for Bus Route Alerts

Receive bus route delays or limited service information during snow/icy weather by signing up for the CodeRED notification system. Individuals must create an account to signup for the Transportation Bus/Shuttle notifications. CLICK HERE to be taken to the City of Platteville's Community Notification Enrollment page.  Register for a CodeRED account with the City of Platteville and select Transportation Bus/Shuttle under Additional Notifications. On the signup page, after the Contact Information, make sure to check the box next to Transportation Bus/Shuttle to receive notifications about route delays or limited service during snowy/ice weather.

When there are continuous snow, icy or dangerous road conditions, routes can be limited to specific stops to ensure the safety of passengers and vehicles. These limitations will depend on the weather and road conditions. Updates are added to this webpage, the City of Platteville Facebook page and the University of Wisconsin – Platteville’s page.
