Spring Swap will take place on Saturday, May 22, 2021
The City of Platteville, Faherty’s Incorporated and the University of Wisconsin–Platteville have partnered to host the first ever Spring Swap! On Saturday, May 22, 2021, the community is encouraged to participate in this free exchange of gently used items at Faherty’s, 1120 Broadway Street. Drop off gently used items or pick up new-to- you items!
Drop off times will be from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. and items will be available for viewing and pick up from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Items remaining at the end of the day will be donated to local thrift stores or disposed of properly.
Items are intended for free reuse and not for resale or personal profit. Free drop-off items are clothing, furniture, dishes & pans, toys, sports equipment, linens and other gently used items. A list of items that will incur a fee include: broken and beyond repair items, mattresses, child car seats, refuse from construction or remodel, appliances, electronics, tires and batteries.
Organizers are looking for volunteers to help with this event! Please contact Amy Seeboth-Wilson at seebotha@uwplatt.edu for more information, or you can sign up online via this link: http://bit.ly/VolunteerAtSpringSwap.
Participation in the event is voluntary and neither the City of Platteville, University of Wisconsin-Platteville, nor Faherty’s Inc. is responsible for the condition or quality of products.
