Wastewater Treatment Plant Worker II

The City of Platteville seeks a Wastewater Treatment Plant Worker II. The successful candidate will work with a team to operate and maintain the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant. The position requires a high school education or GED and 1-3 years of related experience. While direct experience is not necessary, mechanical aptitude is required. Computer skills are also required.  Successful candidates will be reliable, possess a strong work ethic, display initiative on the job, thrive in a team setting and be able to obtain their WI Wastewater Certification with 24 months of hire. CDL license is required within 6 months of hire. Salary based on experience but not less than $20.56 per hour.
